Updated over 5 months ago

Countdown Timer Bar can help you add a sense of urgency to your sales events, make your customers feel they must act now so they don't miss something important and increase sales. The application supports several types of timers, such as single, auto-recurring, daily and weekly timers. You can use them for different sales events.

Create a Countdown Timer Bar:

There are many functions and types of timers you can use... but to quickly set up a new bar, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the “Create New Bar” button.

  2. Select a template: Once you select a template, you will see a preview of how it will look on your website.

  3. Configure the bar: The application offers many configuration options. To get started quickly, make sure the following options are configured:

    • Message before and after the timer: This is where you can enter the message that will appear on the bar.

    • Call to action:

      • By default, the bar adds a clickable button. When customers click that button, they will be redirected to the page of your choice. You can configure the address of the link where customers will be redirected to.

      • You can also choose to make the entire bar clickable, without displaying a button. To do this, set the “Clickable Bar” option to 'Make all bar clickable'.

      • If you do not wish to display any buttons or make the bar clickable, simply set the clickable bar option to 'Do not make the bar clickable'.

    • Timer settings: There are 4 types of timers. In the example below, this is the standard timer that will start when the bar is saved and count down to July 02, 2024, 12:00 AM.

Edit your Timer Bar:

Now that you have created a toolbar, you can edit it. To do so, go back to the application control panel.

  1. Click on the name of the bar you want to edit.

  2. The bar settings will open. You can make any edits you need and then save your bar. When the page in your store refreshes, the bar changes will be applied.
