The Quantity bundle and 2x1, 3x1 bundle widgets now let you add up to 5 complementary products (it used to be just one) 🎁. And the best part: the discount on each complementary product is actually applied at checkout — no need to touch prices or set up promotions by hand.
A different discount for each tier
You now set up a grid: for each tier of your widget, you choose the discount each complementary product gets. For example:
Buy 1 → the complementary product goes at full price
Buy 2 → 50% OFF on the complementary product
Buy 3 → Free!
And if you add several complementary products, each one can have its own % on each tier: one can be free at the 3rd tier while another goes at 30%. You decide how much margin you give up in each case.
The discount is real, not just a banner
Before, to "give away" a complementary product you had to set it to $0 in your store, or charge full price and leave the banner as a promise. Now Nuby creates the promotion for you and the discount is applied at checkout, on the complementary product the customer added. The product keeps its real price in your catalog (better for your stock and your reports) and the customer sees the discount applied at payment.

You choose which ones come pre-selected and which don't.
If the complementary product has sizes or colors, the customer picks the variant right from the widget.
You can hide complementary products on any tier you want (e.g. show them only from the 2nd tier onwards).
Important if you already had a complementary product set up
Your current widgets keep working exactly as they always have. When you go in to edit them you'll see your complementary product already on the new list, and the discounts start at 0%: set the % you want on each tier and save. Only then does the discount start applying at checkout, so nothing changes unless you decide it.
If you had the complementary product set to $0 in your store, take the chance to give it back its real price and let the widget handle the discount.
