Guide to Setting Up the Review Page

The Review Page is where your customers leave their feedback on the products they purchased.

This page is embedded directly within your Tiendanube store, retaining your navigation menu and footer, so the experience is fully integrated with your brand.

How does it work?

When a customer clicks on the review link they receive via WhatsApp or email, they are directed to the Review Page within your Tiendanube store. The page:

  • Appears WITHIN your Tiendanube store (it is not an external site)

  • Includes your store’s header and navigation menu

  • Includes your store’s footer

  • Uses the colors and styles you configure to match your brand

  • Displays the product the customer purchased so they can review it

This means your customers never leave your store to leave a review. The experience is seamless and professional.

Real-Time Preview

The configuration tool has two panels:

  1. Left panel (Settings): All options for customizing the page.

  2. Right panel (Preview): A real-time view of how the page will look. Any changes you make are reflected instantly.

Available preview types:

  • 1 Product: How it looks when the customer needs to review a single product

  • Multiple: How it looks when the order contains multiple products

  • Thank You: The thank-you page displayed after submitting the review

Settings Sections

The settings are organized into collapsible sections. Click on each section to expand it and view its options.

General

Background Color: The main background color for the entire page.

Header

Configure the title and subtitle that appear at the top of the page.

Title: The main text (e.g., “Leave your review”)

Title Color: The color of the title text

Title Size: The font size of the title (24-56px)

Subtitle: Secondary text below the title (e.g., “Tell us about your experience and get a 10% discount”)

Subtitle Color: The color of the subtitle text

Subtitle Size: The font size of the subtitle (12-24px)

Product Card

Configure how the card displaying the product information to be reviewed appears.

  • Background: Background color of the product card

  • Border: Border color of the card

  • Product Title: Color of the product name

  • Description: Color of the product description

  • Price: Color of the product price

  • Variant Background: Background color of the variant badge (e.g., “Size M,” “Color Red”)

  • Variant Text: Color of the text inside the variant badge

Form

Configure the area where the customer writes their review.

  • Background: Form background color

  • Border: Form border color

  • Label Color: Color of the field labels (e.g., “Your Name,” “Your Review”)

  • Label Size: Font size of the labels (12–18px)

  • Input Background: Background color of the text fields

  • Input Border: Border color of the text fields

  • Input Text: Color of the text entered by the user

  • Placeholder: Color of the placeholder text inside empty fields

Stars

Configure the colors of the rating stars.

  • Active star: Color of selected stars (when the customer clicks a rating)

  • Inactive star: Color of unselected stars

Button (Submit Review)

Configure the main button to submit the review.

  • Button text: The text that appears on the button (e.g., “Submit review”)

  • Button Background: Button background color

  • Button Text: Button text color

  • Font Size: Button text size (12-20px)

Product Selector Button

This button appears when the order contains multiple products. A button is displayed for each product so the customer can choose which one to review.

  • Button text: The text inside each button (e.g., “Leave a review”)

  • Button background: The button's background color

  • Button text: The color of the button text

Footer

Configure the text that appears at the bottom of the page.

  • Text: A closing message (e.g., “Your review helps us improve and helps other customers make better decisions”)

  • Color: Footer text color

Thank You Page - Header

After submitting the review, the customer sees a thank you page. Configure its header:

Title: Main thank you text (e.g., “Thank you for your review!”)

Title Color: Title text color

Title Size: Font size (24-48px)

Subtitle: Secondary text (e.g., “Your feedback helps us improve...”)

Subtitle Color: Subtitle text color

Subtitle Size: Font size (12-24px)

Icon Color: Color of the checkmark icon

Icon background: Background color of the circle containing the icon

Thank You Page - Discount

If you have multimedia incentives enabled (Settings > Multimedia), you can configure how the discount code is displayed here:

Important: This section is only shown to customers if they have a photo/video incentive enabled in Settings > Multimedia.

  • Discount Title: Text above the code (e.g., “Here's your discount!”)

  • Title Color: Color of the title text

  • Code Background: Background color of the area where the code appears

  • Code Color: Color of the discount code text

  • Code Border: Color of the border around the code area

  • Description: Text below the code (e.g., “Use it on your next purchase”)

  • Description Color: Color of the description text

Thank You Page - Button

Configure the button so the customer can continue browsing your store.

  • Button Text: The text on the button (e.g., “Continue Shopping”)

  • Button Background: The background color of the button

  • Button Text: The text color of the button

Save and Reset

  • Save: Saves all the changes you made. Changes take effect immediately, and your customers will see the new settings.

  • Reset: Restores the factory default settings. Useful if you want to start from scratch.

Customer Flow

To help you understand better, here’s how it works from your customer’s perspective:

  1. The customer makes a purchase in your store

  2. X days later (depending on your settings), they receive a message via WhatsApp/email asking for a review

  3. The customer clicks the link in the message

  4. The Review Page opens WITHIN your Tiendanube store, displaying your menu and footer

  5. The customer sees the product they purchased and the review form

  6. They select the stars, write their review, and optionally upload photos or videos

  7. They click “Submit Review”

  8. They see the Thank You Page with a thank-you message (and their discount coupon if they uploaded media)

  9. They can click “Continue Shopping” to keep browsing your store

Orders with Multiple Products

When an order contains multiple products, the page can behave in two ways (depending on your settings in WhatsApp Templates):

  • Option 1 - Show all products: The customer sees all the products in their order and can choose which one to review by clicking the “Leave a review” button for each one. Once they finish with one, they can go back and review another.

  • Option 2 - Only the most expensive product: The highest-value product is displayed directly for the customer to review.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the page actually appear within my store?

Yes, the page renders as a native page within your Tiendanube store. It includes your header, navigation menu, footer, and your store’s entire style. Customers won’t notice any difference from the rest of your store.

Can I see how it looks before saving?

Yes, the preview on the right updates in real time as you modify the options. However, to see exactly how it looks integrated into your store, you can open the link to a test review.

Do the colors I choose override my store’s colors?

The colors you set here only apply to the elements on the review page (form, product card, buttons, etc.). Your store’s header, menu, and footer retain their own styles.

What happens if I don’t configure anything?

The page uses default settings that are neutral and adapt to most stores. But we recommend customizing it so it perfectly matches your brand.

Can I use my logo?

The logo that appears is your Tiendanube store’s logo, since the page is rendered within your store. You don’t need to configure it here.

Is the page responsive (mobile-friendly)?

Yes, the page is optimized to look good on any device: mobile phones, tablets, and desktops.

Can I change the text in the form fields?

The text in the fields (such as “Your rating,” “Your name,” “Your review”) is configured based on the language selected in Settings > Advanced. If you need custom text, the language overrides the defaults.

Can a customer review a product they didn’t purchase?

No, the page only displays the products from the order associated with the link. The customer cannot invent products.

What happens if a customer accesses the review link multiple times?

The first time, they can leave their review. If they access it again after submitting it, they’ll see a message indicating that they’ve already left their review.

Is the discount code generated automatically?

Yes, if you have multimedia incentives enabled in Settings > Multimedia, the code is generated automatically when the customer uploads a photo or video, and it is displayed on the Thank You Page.
