Available widgets
Nuby Reviews includes 4 types of widgets that you can enable and configure:
1. Homepage widget
Displays featured reviews on your homepage. This widget is ideal for building trust from the moment a visitor arrives at your store.

Default carousel layout
Ideal for highlighting your best reviews
2. Product list widget
A review carousel that appears on collection or category pages. It helps build trust as customers browse your catalog.
Location: Collection/category pages

You can manually choose which reviews to display
Default grid layout
Displays general reviews from your store
3. Product Widget
Displays full reviews on each individual product page. This is the most important widget for conversion.
Location: Product page
Features:
Reviews are automatically displayed based on the product
Only approved reviews for the product the customer is viewing are shown
Sorted by date (most recent first)
Includes customer photos if available
Default list layout
4. Stars in Listings
Automatically adds the star rating and the number of reviews below the price on each product card.
Location: Product cards (listing and product page)
Features:
Automatically calculates the average of all product reviews
Displays the total number of reviews in parentheses (e.g., ★★★★★ (25))
Only appears if the product has at least 1 review
How to Configure a Widget:
To configure a widget, go to Reviews > Widgets in the side menu and select the widget you want to edit.
Enable/Disable Widget
Each widget has an enable switch at the top. If the widget is disabled, it will not be displayed in your store even if you have configured it.

Appearance Tab
Customize the widget's colors to match your store's design.
Available options:
Background Color: The background color of the widget container
Card Background Color: The background color of each review card
Title Color: The color of the widget's main title
Text Color: The color of the review text
Star Color: The color of the rating stars
Date Color: The color of the review date
Primary Color: The accent color (badges, buttons, etc.)
Layout (not available for the Stars widget):
Carousel: Reviews are displayed in a horizontal, scrollable carousel
Grid: Reviews are displayed in a multi-column grid
List: Reviews are displayed one below the other
Columns: When using the grid layout, you can choose how many columns to display (2–4).
Tip: Use the “Copy colors to all widgets” button to apply the same color palette to all widgets at once.
Content tab
Define what information to display in each review.
Available options:
Widget title: The text that appears as the header (e.g., “Customer Reviews”)
Maximum number of reviews: How many reviews to display (1–20)
Elements to display (you can enable or disable each one):
Star rating: The 5-star rating
Show average: Customer photos, videos, and audio
Verified purchase badge: Indicates that the customer actually purchased the product
Review date: When the review was posted
Helpful button: Allows other customers to mark the review as helpful
Settings tab
This tab varies depending on the widget type:
For the Homepage Widget and Product List Widget:
You can manually search for and select which reviews to display
The top 6 reviews are displayed as suggestions
Use the search bar to find specific reviews by customer, product, or text
The selected reviews appear at the top
For Product Widget:
Reviews are automatically selected based on the product
No manual configuration required
All reviews associated with each product are displayed
For Star Ratings in Listings:
The calculation is automatic
No manual configuration required
The average rating is calculated and displayed next to the number of reviews
Preview Tab
Shows how the widget will look in your store with sample data. Use this view to verify your color and configuration changes before saving.
Save Changes
Once you've finished configuring the widget, click the “Save” button to apply the changes. The changes will be reflected immediately in your store.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why don’t I see the star widget on some products?
The star widget only appears on products that have at least one published review. If a product doesn’t have any reviews yet, the stars won’t be displayed.
Can I use different colors for each widget?
Yes, each widget has its own color settings. You can customize them individually or use the “Copy colors to all widgets” button to unify the style.
Are the reviews in the product widget updated automatically?
Yes, when a customer posts a new review for a product, it will automatically appear in that product’s widget without requiring manual configuration.
Can I display reviews with photos only in the homepage widget?
Not directly, but you can manually select only the reviews that have photos when configuring which reviews to display.
What is the maximum number of reviews I can display?
You can display up to 20 reviews per widget. For the homepage and product list widgets, we recommend between 6–8 reviews for the best visual experience.
