Review List Guide

The Review List is where you can view, moderate, and manage all the reviews your customers have left for your products. From here, you can approve, reject, reply to, and delete reviews.

Statistics Dashboard

At the top, you’ll find 4 cards with a summary of your reviews:

  • Total Reviews: The total number of reviews received

  • Pending: Reviews you haven’t moderated yet and are awaiting approval

  • Published: Approved reviews that are visible in your store

  • Rejected: Reviews you rejected and are not publicly displayed

Review Statuses

Each review can have one of the following statuses:

  1. Pending: The review was submitted by a customer but hasn’t been moderated yet. It is not displayed in your store until you approve it.

  2. Published: The review was approved and is visible to all visitors to your store.

  3. Rejected: The review was rejected and is not publicly displayed. The customer is not notified of the rejection.

Filters and Search

You can use filters to find specific reviews:

Search

Type in the search field to search by:

  • Author Name

  • Product Name

  • Review Content

Filter by Status

  • All statuses: Shows all reviews

  • Pending: Only reviews awaiting moderation

  • Published: Only approved reviews

  • Rejected: Only rejected reviews

Filter by Rating

  • All ratings: No star rating filter

  • Positive (4-5): Reviews with 4 or 5 stars

  • Negative (1-2): Reviews with 1 or 2 stars

  • 5 stars / 4 stars / etc.: A specific number of stars

Filter by Media

  • All content: No content type filter

  • With photos: Reviews that include photos

  • With video: Reviews that include video

  • With audio: Reviews that include voice messages

  • Text only: Reviews without multimedia files

Sort By

  • Newest: Newest reviews first

  • Oldest: Oldest reviews first

  • Highest rating: From 5 stars to 1 star

  • Lowest rating: From 1 star to 5 stars

  • Most helpful: Sorted by number of “helpful” votes

Information for Each Review

Each review in the list displays the following information:

  1. Avatar and Name: The name of the customer who left the review. If they have an avatar, their photo is displayed.

  2. “Verified” Badge: Indicates that the customer actually purchased the product (verified purchase).

  3. Rating: The 1 to 5 stars the customer gave the product.

  4. Title and Content: The title and text of the review.

  5. Product: The name of the product the review is for.

Multimedia Indicators:

  • Image icon with a number: Number of attached photos

  • Video icon: Has an attached video

  • Microphone icon: Has a voice message

Helpful Votes: How many people marked this review as helpful.

“Answered” badge: Indicates that you have already responded to this review.

Date: When the review was published.

Status: The current status (Pending, Published, Rejected).

Acciones Individuales

For each review, you have different actions available depending on its status:

For Pending reviews:

  1. Approve (green checkmark icon): Publishes the review and makes it visible in your store.

  2. Reject (red X icon): Rejects the review. It will not be displayed publicly.

For all reviews:

  1. View details: Opens a popup with all the review details, including full-size photos, videos, and audio clips.

  2. Reply / Edit reply: Allows you to write or edit a public reply that will appear below the review in your store.

  3. Delete: Permanently deletes the review. This action cannot be undone.

Three-dot menu

If you don’t see all the actions, click the three-dot icon (⋮) to view the full menu with all options.

Bulk Actions

You can select multiple reviews to perform batch actions:

  1. Check the box next to each review you want to select, or use the header checkbox to select all reviews on the current page.

  2. Once selected, a bulk actions bar will appear showing how many reviews you have selected.

Choose an action:

  • Approve: Publish all selected reviews

  • Reject: Reject all selected reviews

  • Delete: Permanently delete all selected reviews

Note: The action applies to ALL selected reviews. Check carefully before confirming, especially when deleting.

View Review Details

Clicking “View Details” opens a pop-up window with all the review information:

  • Customer information (name, avatar)

  • Overall rating

  • Review title and text

  • Associated product

  • Publication date

  • Current status

Multimedia Content:

  • Photos are displayed in a gallery

  • Videos can be played directly

  • Audio files have a built-in player

Your Response: If you’ve already responded, your response is displayed. If not, you can write one here.

Helpful Votes: How many people found this review helpful.

Reply to a Review

Replies are a great way to interact with your customers and show that you value their feedback.

To reply to a review:

  1. Click “Reply” on the review you want to reply to.

  2. A popup will open where you can write your reply.

  3. Write your message. Remember that it will be publicly visible.

  4. Click “Submit Reply” to save.

To edit an existing reply:

  1. Click “Edit reply” on a review that already has a reply.

  2. Modify the text in the pop-up window.

  3. Click “Save changes.”

Tips for replying:

  • Always thank the customer for their feedback

  • For negative reviews, offer a solution or contact information for support

  • Be professional and courteous

  • Personalize your reply by mentioning the specific product or situation

Export Reviews

You can export your reviews by clicking the “Export Reviews” button in the upper-right corner. This will download a file containing all reviews based on the current filters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are pending reviews displayed in my store?

No, reviews with a “Pending” status are only visible to you in the admin panel. Customers cannot see them until you approve them.

Does the customer know if I rejected their review?

No, the customer does not receive any notification when you reject their review.

Can I change a review from rejected to published?

Yes, you can approve a review that you previously rejected. Use the filters to display rejected reviews and then use the approve action.

Can I edit the content of a review?

No, you cannot modify the content written by the customer. You can only approve, reject, delete, or reply to it.

What happens if I delete a review by mistake?

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you really want to delete the review before confirming.

Do replies appear immediately in the store?

Yes, once you save your reply, it appears immediately below the customer’s review in your store.

Can I delete my response to a review?

Yes, you can edit the response and leave the field blank, or simply delete the text and save.

How do “Helpful” votes work?

Visitors to your store can mark a review as “Helpful” if it helped them make a purchasing decision. This helps highlight the most valuable reviews.

Can review approval be automated?

Yes, you can set up auto-publishing rules in Settings > Advanced. For example, you can automatically approve 4-5 star reviews.
