Until now, the "Notify me when it's back" button only appeared on each product's page. Starting today you can also show it on product listings (categories, search and home), and the dashboard gives you a much clearer picture of which products your customers are asking for.
Button on product listings
When a product is out of stock, its card on the grid can show the alert button directly, without the customer having to open the product page. Turn it on from Stock Notifications → Settings → Advanced customization:
Show the button on listings: adds the button to out-of-stock product cards, with the same design you configured for the product page.
Hide the price on listings: optionally, out-of-stock products are shown without a price (requires the listing button to be enabled).
On listings, the form asks for the variant
Since customers haven't picked a variant yet on listing cards, if the product has more than one out-of-stock variant the form asks which variant they're interested in (size, color, etc.) before letting them submit. That way the alert goes out when you restock exactly what they were waiting for, and you can see in the dashboard which variants are the most requested.
On the product page everything works as always: the request is registered for the variant the customer has selected at that moment, no extra questions.
A dashboard with more insights
The Stock Notifications dashboard now shows:
Requests grouped by product: instead of one long list of individual requests, you see each product with how many requests it has and how many are still pending. Click a product to expand the details for each customer, with the usual email and WhatsApp buttons.
Requests from the last 7 days: to see at a glance whether demand is growing.
Your most requested product: the one with the most alerts piling up — a good candidate to restock first.
Interest per product: on the out-of-stock products tab, each product shows how many alert requests it has accumulated.
